Playing record player with Sonos

Hello,
So I recently purchased a record player with a preamp so that I could play my records through the Sonos speakers that I have. Right now, I have the playbar and sub connect to my tv. How can I connect my record player to play through these speakers? I know the connect and connect:amp would work, but is there a cheaper option that would also work, while not compromising the sound quality?

The Playbar requires a digital input so you need an analogue-to-digital converter. Something like this would do the trick, I think, although you need to check exactly what connection options the turntable / pre-amp offer:

You will also need a digital optical switch so that you can select the TV or turntable as the source.

You should be able to source these, or their equivalents, wherever you are based.

I hope that helps.
Thanks! I'm based in the US. Think it would still work?
Of course! And you should be able to find both devices for sale in the US. More likely there than anywhere.
You're the man, John B. Just ordered the gadgets, will let you know how it works.
Works great! Thank you for the recommendations
Pleased to hear it. Thanks for posting back.
